We've just received our appointment date for our second scan - Sept 9. This means that it will be the day before our next midwife appointment - very handy 
It's called the 20 week scan although it can be done between 20 and 23 weeks (we'll be at about 22 weeks) and is mostly to check for abnormalities - fingers crossed there aren't any!
We're also debating whether or not to find out the sex of the baby when we have the scan. I want to, Vic's not sure, my Mother definitely doesn't want us to............. we have 3 weeks to decide.
Let us know your thoughts on the matter, it'll be interesting if nothing else 
Good to see that you guys are still bubbling with joy - Grandmothers dont count when it comes to deciding these important things. I'm sure that Vic might change her mine of this one - anyway how would you know what colour to paint the babys room!!!

Gee thanks Marc, for telling the whole world about one teensy weensy opinion that I had on knowing the sex of the baby beforehand! The lovely(?) Gayle has me down as an interfering Grannie already - as if!! All I said was that "it's a girl/boy" is (in most peoples' experience) one of life's wonderful surprises.
